Rabbi Y M Guttentag DIRECTOR OF CERTIFICATION & FED TECH – KF KOSHER

As Director of Certification of KF Kosher, Rabbi Guttentag is responsible for the running of KF Kosher’s Certification department whose focus is industrial food manufacture. He is also the founder and director of FedTech, working with industry to ensure that home appliances are compliant with complex areas of Jewish Law.

His responsibilities include liaising with our worldwide portfolio of Kosher certified companies. He has spearheaded the digitisation of the department’s activities and the roll out of our bespoke platform, KF Connect.

Rabbi Guttentag actively trains and mentors all members of his team to strive for the highest levels of professionalism in Kashrus administration and supervision. His particular interests and expertise lie in the intersection between Jewish law, technology and industry and is passionate about educating the Jewish community and industry professionals on these topics.

In addition to his Rabbinic credentials, Rabbi Guttentag is a qualified Shochet and Rav HaMachshir. He enjoys teaching and has significant communal experience.

Rabbi Guttentag is also the Rabbi of Kehillas Eitz Hachaim synagogue in Edgware.
